V.V. Karunaratne & Company is a company counting over four and a half  decades of experience. The company was founded by Mr V V Karunaratne  and the company continues as a partnership company owned and operated by the Karunaratne family.

The company  is recognized as one of the primary logistics organization in  in Sri Lanka, being engaged in the fields of  Commercial Transportation and Logistics, Inland Container operations, Customs Clearing and Forwarding (customs broking), Warehousing and International Freight forwarding.

The Transport division  owns and operates one of  the largest fleets of vehicles in the country. The fleet of vehicles range from  Prime Movers, 40’and 20’ Trailers, Full bodied, Half bodied, Open and Flat-Bed lorries, Container Carriers, and Fork Lifts with varied lifting capacities.

Almost all types of construction machinery too, are included in the fleet. Some of which are Tippers, Bowsers, Concrete Mixer Trucks and varied  Construction Machinery.

The client network comprises of several multi-national organizations, major public and private sector companies, medium and small scale industries and a cross section of the trading community across the country
